Pardon the late reply. I was pretty sure there was a checkbox for it in the email options on your profile, so had to check myself and indeed - it would seem that you can turn off just about any email except comment notifications to your post. Not sure why, perhaps it's because it is somehow considered "core" functionality. Anyway, I'll be forwarding this issue to the developer - I think that your should be able to configure emails just to your liking.
