How about these 1/48th scale examples: 1) the Academy F-4 Phantom 2) the KittyHawk F-35 Lightning II 3) the Kinetic T-45 Goshawk - just to name a few. And there's always the 1/32nd scale B-25 and Skyraider variants. The 1/4 scale Bf-110 instrument panel (updated version) would be cool as well. Might even throw in a couple 1/350th scale ships for something different...or even a selection of 1/35th scale armor pieces. Diversity, right?

1/24 Airfix Mosquito would be great or the 1/32 Revell He 219 owl

Thanks for the suggestions, and as you can see, both Revell's big He 219 and Academy 1/48 F-4 have been selected for this month's prize.

Kinetic and Kittyhawk may be a bit at this stage as one of the requirements for our prize kits is their wide availability in all parts of the world. Armor is currently at the planning stage.

    Futher ideas welcome!

How about the 35th scale Vosper from Italeri, or the new P-61B Black Widow. We could look at books, figures or tools, like an airbrush/compressor combo. If you really want to think big, how about a trip to model event or to a museum.

The soon to be released Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk IX, I suspect would be a popular prize too.

Well, I think we can see that there are a lot of good recommendations here, but I personally would love to see the Eduard boxing of the P-38 F with all the Brassin goodies and the excellent decal sheet. I know it is the Academy plastic but I just have a hankering for a P-38 lately. Trick then would be to actually win...
