I've been wanting to do this for years. This group build is as good a reason to do it and now is as good a time as any. Stay tuned!
Can’t wait. Nothing could make me happier on this Group Build than hearing, “I’ve been wanting to do this for years” - thanks for joining up, Michael - looking forward to seeing the reveal.
As the saying goes, every successful project begins with a solid foundation.

Construction begins. Tip of the day: If you get granite countertops and they cut out for a sink or cooktop, ask the granite guy for the drop-off or if you don't get countertops, buy a remnant from them. The granite remnant slab makes a great surface to use for gluing flat, straight, and perpendicular parts.
The first mock-up building is done.
I cut out all the windows and doors.
A mysterious thread. Movie reference, some great modeling skills on show already, lots of buildings. There is something of a New England feel to that shack... Given your Avenger build, we should expect something...unexpected.
Love this idea of setting out on this journey with no idea of the destination. An iModeler mystery tour.
Looking forward to the next episode.
Like a movie, there will be some quick takes, before the establishing shot and then the close-up reveal.
The "Slow Clap", hey, it is a movie reference, well clapboard anyway. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/slow-clap
I started to glue on the clapboard. I didn't realize it was .0625" (1.5875mm) thick. I'll have to make adjustments for the other buildings.
Thought I was onto something here...but no.
Who are you Sherlock Holmes? Very close indeed.
Ah, elementary, my dear Michael - one simply has to not just ‘see’ but observe.
Another clue, please?
David, another clue. Not an outhouse, but an "Ice Box".
This is getting under my skin. It’s a definitive New England shape of building. Spielberg movie with a sharkmouth...come on. Feel like the guy in Dirty Harry, “I gots to know...”
The next clue should arrive from Romania any day now.
