It has been a few days, possibly even more than a week since I have stopped by on Imodeler to look at the group.
Wow ! You are doing an incredible job with your Hellcat. The office looks like you could flip on the master switch and yell out "Clear Prop !"... absolutely amazing.
The decal sheet you have is loaded with some excellent choices. I like the yellow nosed Hellcat that was used in the Tokyo raids. It would match my Tamiya Corsair nicely... I can see myself building that exact plane some day. The Essex planes and the 10,000th Hellcat built are also contenders for me someday.
The Obscuro cowling is a nice touch too. I have used several of them in the past, and they fit just like you said... It's an excellent upgrade too.
