After all the yellow wing subjects, it´s time for some more modern USN stuff.
Gonna do a Hasegawa A-7 with TwoBobs decals, representing the XO aircraft of VA-22 in the second half of the 80ies, which received a special livery like the CO.
As far as I´ve seen, Jim Sullivan didn´t write a book about the A-7. But he was also a passionate and good photographer of naval aircraft and took pics of one or the other A-7. So I hope this counts for the Group Build, if not, please delete.

A very nice choice for a new subject, Reinhard @grimreaper
The chosen scheme looks amazing on the A7, looking forward to it.

Another great entry, my friend @grimreaper! Of course your entry is perfectly acceptable for this GB: Jim loved the A-7, having taken numerous pictures of it, so building an A-7 is a great way to honor him.
    Looking forward to your progress!

I agree with what Spiros said. This is another great tribute to Jim. Go for it ! I can remember watching some A-7's "attacking" our tank columns in the desert during the early to mid 1980's during some training exercises. They looked so out of place wearing the dark wrap around Green "lizard" style European camouflage in the desert.

I'm looking forward to what you show us next.

left the kit seat, right the Aires seat with PE parts
most probably gonna use the kit seat with the PE stuff
btw, the kit comes with an the early and the late seat, as far as I could identify on the only pic I found online, this aircraft had the late sea

Great progress, my friend @grimreaper! Indeed this kit's air intake is challenging.

    already some build up progress

Hasegawa provided two PE parts that should be mounted between the "rods" on each fuselage side and the main body, but kept them off
