Soooo. A step back but in the right direction. Was getting decals on the body but the big colour decal were just not doing their thing nicely, large decals covering big curving and bending areas and going over big hinges and areal posts, just ended up being a nightmare.
I wasn't liking how it was turning out, so I've pulled them off. will now mask and paint them on.

A big masking exercise coming up, @anthonyricco, I don’t envy you at all, but I’m sure you will complete it in time for the deadline. I did think of starting a kit at the 4:00pm starting time and finishing it within the 24 hours, what do you think? It would have to be something relatively simple. The time zones may make it extra difficult, but you could follow the race progress during the build. There are some interesting entrants this year, but no kits available so far.

@chinesegeorge that is an awesome idea, would love to see you do it, would be very very fun. Go for it man, We can make the entry deadline for the end of the race then.

Pitty about those decals, Anthony @anthonyricco
I'm sure you will get a much better result with painting those surfaces. Unfortunately a lot of masking will be needed.

Hey guys - so you remember the decal disaster. here is the results of it. I removed them all and masked and sprayed the blue.

I got some overspray but managed to finely sand most of it off.
