Started doing some mottling, want to give it a nice weathered look, will still add some yellows, reds and bright greens into this.

Nice mottling, my friend @anthonyricco!
Thanks Spiros @fiveten - I really enjoy, its quite relaxing - I want to add some different colours into it now.
Mottling looks great indeed, Anthony @anthonyricco
Thanks everyone - As I said I wanted to add colours to my mottling to bring out different accents - here is how that went. Looks like the tank stopped by some kind of acid trip party hahaha.

And the result of the olive drab over the crazy acid colours is...
As you can see there is a nice uneven base that gives a nice weathered and used look.
And then I did some dry brushing to bring out the detail and some detail painting, Really loving this so far, had some great advice from mates that have elevated it (by my standards) even higher.

Looking great, @anthonyricco, that mottling effect has worked out great, and dry brushing is still a great technique to use.
Looking great indeed, my friend @anthonyricco! Superb technique!
That creative gravity pre-shading gave a very nice effect, Anthony @anthonyricco Great idea which I noted in my tips and tricks book.
Thanks George, yes the dry brushing worked nicely. A great modeler friend of mine suggested it and I'm very happy with the results.
Thanks @fiveten and @johnb. I'm glad I can help you for a change John. Appreciate the comments guys.
Hi All - hope you've had a good weekend, some updates after a bit more work. Clear coated and got some tools on the Sherman.
I then started the weathering process - first using Tamiyas weathering sticks and the weathering powder kits, they work well as a base for the weathering.
