Nice work, Louis (@lgardner). It was a pleasure following along on this build. It is really cool seeing both of these tanks together.

Thank you my friend for your compliments and for following along with this project. I also think these two tanks look great sitting next to each other. I am really surprised at just how much larger the Panther was when you see it parked side by side, and sitting next to the Pershing. These WW2 German tanks were fearsome machines.

Please continue to check back here, as I will be completing the pair of Sherman's and the Panzer Mk IV before this journal will be closed. I also need to build some photo shoot back drop walls and a cobblestone street.

You are doing some very nice work on your FW-189. I just left you a comment on your build journal.

    Thanks again for everything.

Thank you John. I sincerely appreciate your continued support with my various projects. This one holds a special place in my heart. It's not quite done yet, as I need to finish the pair of Sherman's and the Panzer Mk IV before I will call it done. I hope you will continue to check in here from time to time.

Tonight I stopped by and took a look at your B-25 build. You have made some great progress with it. Very impressive ! I left you a nice comment on it a few minutes ago.

Take care my friend. Stay safe.

    G’day Louis (@lgardner),
I added th machine guns, with brackets made from unused etched pieces, and also added what I believe are spare armoured glass blocks above the wooden seats. I think it is ready to be closed up now.

Thanks for allowing me to post on your blog.

The Drilling pedestal is almost complete.

The armour is not attached as it needs the brown and green camouflage applied. The ring and bead sight got knocked off with handling, so I’ll add that last.

This is a multi small part build and it is hard to get everything lined up and square.

A particular complaint online is that the ammo belts need to be twisted 90 deg and bent, etc to fit between the ammo boxes and the guns.

That was the least of my troubles - a bit of gentle persuasion was all that was needed.

Just sitting in place here. Can you pick where I got sticky prints on the body when I glued upper to lower?

Hard to tell where the fingerprints are.

    G’day Spiros (@fiveten).
Those big sanded areas at the rear. 👓
I’ll respray the yellow and then apply the brown and green striping.

This is looking very nice, even with the finger prints. It happens to the best of us... Don't look too close at the water can on my Panther tank. It's covered with them.

The AAA weapons look outstanding, and I especially like how the ammo belt looks that is being fed into the weapons.

This already looks nice, and it will only get better from here.

    Keep it going...

Camoflage applied. It is not quite what I had in mind when I started, but that is in part due to the three-colour mix. I painted some green, then filled in some brown, then green, then brown and, finally, the last of the green.
