Pepper, my svelte and graceful kitty, can easily navigate my shelves without as much as sliding open a canopy. How they do it is beyond me (but I'm thankful). I've told her she doesn't belong up there, but since when do cats listen to anything you ask?

Shadow, her sister, on the hand, has all the grace and gymnastic ability of a large beaver (we affectionately call her "chub-chub") - loveable as can be - actually DOES listen to 'commands' - but fortunately cannot jump onto the shelves [doesn't even attempt it].
