Just saw this gem and decided to build it in the markings of u-81,which sank Royal Navy aircraft carrier Ark Royal,which I am building in 1/720 also from Revell.

@mvtb, just noticed mine was a type IIB and in 1/144. So not a fair comparison. In 1/350 it is likely much more complex.

@mvtb, thanks, Marcus. I did built this Uboat after receiving an invitation from David Kopielski @davids_models to participate in the the 'Naval ships and boats' group. Till now this is the only ship I have ever build. I really enjoyed building this one. The headline article can be found here:
