    Thank you for posting pictures of your Mercedes six cylinder. Having it look that good makes a person want to leave an engine panel or two off... otherwise most of it will be hidden inside the fuselage.

    I'm going to echo what was said by Spiros and John... the copper is an excellent addition and it looks more realistic to me as well.

    They used a lot of copper and brass parts on aircraft (and cars) during this era.

    Thanks Louis, that's the problem with engines, they usually hide in fuselages or vehicle bodies.
    Copper is a very handy metal for modelling I have found, be it wire or sheet, easy to bend and shape and looks authentic.

    Final assembly of exhausts and stand. completion of painting put the beast on the stand and fit the prop. Job done, next entry will be a 1/32 Bristol M.1C
