Thanks John, the iconic T-tail of the Starfighter is what got my attention as a child, especially when stations used to sign off at night during the week, long before cable, HBO, when the short film called "High Flight" featured the Starfighter. Another version of the film featured the F-100 Super Sabre.
Thanks Spiros, like the Hase kit, about the same stage of the build, getting it close to paint.

This session is to assemble and attach the stubby wings of the 104.

The flying surfaces are separate parts. But for now will assemble and install the wings. The fit to the fuselage is excellent.

Next up is the intakes. Before assembly, the leading edge and shock cone are painted Tamiy Gloss back. The leading edge of the inkake is also painted Gloss Black.

The Lh shock cone and splitter plate is attached to the LH fuselage half. Then the RH side is attached.

Next the intake outer panels are attached.

Next the lower strake is attached.

Next up is to assemble the drop tanks.

Hi, Chuck (@uscusn): I have been following your other F-104, but totally missed this one. Great progress on this 104 that seems a lot more complicated that the Hasegawa. The amount of PE and other additional parts on this model are impressive.

If the wings are as sharp as the real ones, you should be able to cut paper with it.

Thanks George, yes it does have a bit more details, but not fiddly. The quality is good but does not make it that much better than the Hase F-104. Having the Eduard's extras is a bonus.

A little catching on the Vietnam era Starfighter, Attaching the flaps n slats.

Starting with the inner flaps I will have them deployed.

Then the outer flaps are attached in the neutral position.

The slats are next attached to the leading edge of the wings.

Next up the drop tanks and forward fuselage details.
