Started in December, got as far as (95%) assembly, painting and chipping then put it to one side. Brought it back to the bench today and spent a couple of hours on the pin wash. Next I'll try to emphasise the 'duelling scars' on its cheek. Never attempted battle damage before so something new for me.

Hoping to get it finished for a model comp next month in Hamilton.

Good to see this one back on the bench, Ian @ij001
She looks superb already and I'm pretty sure you wil get great scores at the competition.

Good Mornin' All (well it is here),

Oil dot filter applied. Subtle change to the tones on the top and upper sides. Really hard to see in the photos without completely scr-w-ng-up the settings in the photo editor app...

All I can say is the 'kit' is lighter, greener but less saturated than it was yesterday !

Next, another light coat of satin clear then (light) streaks. As ever criticism, comments and questions are welcome.

    'Beast' progress:

Streaks and stains - all W & N oil paints. Next I'll re-attach all the grab handles and focus on the exhausts & exhaust stains also smarten-up the tarp on the rear quarter and maybe add another small tarp & a bag or two.

AFN, have a great weekend all. Best from NZ.

    Last photos before it's done.

Need to paint & weather the insides of the hatches, detail paint the machine gun, add just one last piece of stowage, and finally a very, VERY light pigment/dust coat. Not sure if there will be time to paint the figure before the competition next month, hopefully I can.

    Thanks for following along.

Hi Ian @ij001, I think adding the figure will give you an even better chance of winning a prize. Great work so far.

Those cloths do look really nice, Ian @ij001
The overall weathering made it look very realistic.
A true winner for the competition.
