    Hello to the group !

I will be making my debut with a custom made order for my wife . The kit is the "big" one for this magnificent car , including all the necessary to build a decent copy . Despite its size, it is quite simplified and "lifts" a lot of extra work.

A controversial point is the choice of chrome parts, as well as the quality of the chrome used.

In any case , looks like a fun to build kit , seeing and doing .

The color will be a green , propably a dark one , since it is an order, with its interior between beige and brown leather, this has not yet been decided.

So , going to my bench for the first cut . Soon (I hope) the first update .

    Excellent choice, Michael @faraomike
Will you built it with the doors open or closed.

Since it will be placed in an individual display case - box type - I am not sure if it will fit with the doors open. It depends on the volume of the finished model.
Thank you for looking John @johnb .

Great choice, @farsomike, it’s a real classic car. I’ve built the Tamiya 1/24 kit but this is much bigger, keeping those doors open might prove to be a little tricky. It should look cool in dark green, looking forward to following your build.

The engine looks great, Michael @faraomike
Will you be able to open up the hood to be able to show this engine once the Mercedes is finished.

It seems like a century has passed from my last post here and this because of the awkwardly kit of Revell !
And unfortunately the memory card of my camera fails and I have lost many photos of my running projects . In any case , here are some shots which I managed to save , which focus on the front suspension system . You can read my comments on the photos and on the next (final part) soon .

A pity you lost many of the pictures, Michael @faraomike
At least you still have your projects running.
The progress on the Mercedes looks great.
