The headlights look great, @brithebuilder, as does the gloss finish, I think working indicator lights are the next step.

Progress: the brake/suspension assemblies are done... and as scary as it was to cut off the kit's rear diffuser fins to install PE parts, it turned out really well. The alignment of the fins isn't perfect, it is close and I don't think anyone will notice, it is the bottom of the car. I wish I had remembered to take a couple pics of the process. I think I painted the satin black too soon and the Zip Kicker hadn't fully evaporated so it made the paint pretty nasty. While sanding off the bad paint, I broke a few fins off and had the opportunity to correct some slight spacing issues. This time I actually washed it with soapy water before painting and now the first layer of paint looks really smooth. Still obviously some sanding marks, but I'm hoping that a few more layers of paint will take care of it.

My God man! You're an animal! Sweet work on this beast... Paint looks fantastic. I always have had trouble with high gloss stuff. I usually do combat aircraft and they most or all have either flat or semi gloss finishes.

Thanks John. I think adding the small scratches on the PE really helps.

@intruder500 - Thanks Stephen! I really appreciate that. The high gloss is an a*s kicker really. In every way it's more challenging. Flat and semi gloss even dry faster. I've made the mistake of trying to handle something sprayed with gloss in the same time frame as flat or semi and left fingerprints. I've done more weathered and beat up stuff in the last several years. Doing Warhammer and Star Wars models allows a lot more leeway in the finish work.
