Coming along nicely George! The exhausts look great. Well done and keep going.

The radiator is fitted and plumbed in, it just clips into place and is held there by the three hose pipes. I dabbed a splodge of silver on the filler cap.

Now onto the front forks. They are supplied chrome plated in the kit but they mostly have to be painted a mix of gold and silver. As I use rattle cans I couldn’t do that so I used titanium gold instead which looks about right.

They go together quite easily as long as you get the various components the right way round, not upside down and back to front.

Held together by a screw through the wheel’s axle. I’ve fitted little caps of the vinyl tubing where the various brake pipes go, but I’ve run out of the thinner tubing, and I’m waiting for the postman to bring this along with some vital supplies.

I added the handlebars, picked out the levers in aluminium, and fitted the fork assembly to the main frames. Now they can stand on their own two wheels.

As soon as the postman comes I should be able to finish these quite quickly, so I’m planning my next project. I’ve enjoyed posting these WIPs but there’s not been much interest other than from you three guys, so I’m not sure if I want to do any more. What do you think? Any way Spiros @fiveten, John @johnb, and Rory @rory, thanks again for your help and support, it’s much appreciated.

Looking superb so far, my friend @chinesegeorge! The pictures depicting them on stands can easily be mistaken for pictures of real bikes during their initial assembly!

As long as you have a good time posting your WIPs, then why not keep posting? Otherwise, if the fun factor seems to diminish, I could understand and, of course, totally respect your decision.

I would definitely love to see more of your work here: not only it is amazing to watch a master modeler's work, but also, your subjects are utterly inspiring. Will definitely build some bikes in the future because of your work!

George - first; nice work! looking great. I have to admit I've been following without commenting, and from my own experience that is not good for the builders interest in posting. Should you choose to make a new topic I shall try to be more active - as noted from own experience it helps the mojo a lot!

Anyway - have fun with the builds, and fingers crossed that you stay active here @chinesegeorge!

Looking great George! I particularly like the blue scheme with the silver wheels. Keep posting George. I am going to start posting my Kawasaki build soon, but there has been no progress for the last two weeks as work is getting in the way of my fun!

Some of those images can indeed be mistaken of looking at real bike frames, George @chinesegeorge
    Your modelling skills are amazing.
It would be a pity to not be able to see your work in progress, but ofcourse it is your decision which I will respect.
Most important is that you enjoy what you are doing.

Hi Rory @rory, Erik @airbum, John @johnb, and Spiros @fiveten, thanks for your kind comments and support, you’re right, Erik, it does help to keep your mojo working. While I’m waiting for the postman I’ve started work on the front fairings.

And can anyone find a home for these indicators?

    Happy modelling everyone.

The postman brought some essential supplies today, but unfortunately not the brake pipe material that I’m waiting for...

Nice progress on the nose part, George @chinesegeorge
After trying to identify those indicators, I have no idea what they are or where they should be installed. I guess they will reside behind the fairing.

While I’ve been waiting for the brake pipe material to arrive I’ve got on with painting the nose fairings and the side parts.

With the exception of the front mudguards which have etched rivets, the rest of the rivets/fasteners came from my “transfer treasure chest” (as opposed to a decal dungeon). I’ve just opened a “pop-up” motorcycle store, the sign above the bikes translates as “George’s Motorcycles”.

The seats have also been fitted, black for the blue bike and matt red for the red and white one. I gave the red bike a pillion seat and the blue bike a single seat. I thought someone with a red bike was more likely to be an outgoing person who likes company, so much for amateur psychology.
