Well, after the Eduard F4F-3 didn´t make it to finish, my dad dares a new attempt with the recently released Eduard FM-2.
Gonna do a seablue scheme but don´t know which one yet.

cockpit tub done and fuselage already closed
although my dad read several build reports by fellow modellers where they warned about paying attention when installing the turbo charger not to have it the wrong way around, my dad did it wrong 😄 but luckily he could correct it

dad was too fast and forgot to drill the holes for the rockets...doing it afterwards is always a bit of a guessing game..
same procedure as with the Hellcat nighfighter, glueing on the one piece rocket-stub and then cutting off the rockets

also already some work on the engine

Seems like you located them already, but for next time, you might be holding to wings against a strong light source, maybe that way you can locate the thinned areas for the rockets.

Great progress, my friend @grimreaper! I almost always forget to open such holes. Usually, holding the model in front of a strong light source helps locating the recessed area where the hole should be drilled out (looks lighter).
