Hi Freddie, I'm pretty sure that everything I have posted here on iModeler, was painted either with Model Master Enamels, Tamiya rattle cans, or my then dwindling stock of Polly Scale/Warbird aryclics. I started the transition to Tamiya paints about 6 weeks ago, in fact the kits I'm building for this Group Build will be the first where I use Tamiya bottle paints.
This will be cool then! I can not wait to see your finished projects!
Your Kate is starting to really look like a plane now that you have the flying surfaces glued on... Great progress !
Great build so far, the paint job in the cockpit looks fantastic. Well done !
That is a nicely painted cockpit. I hope I can do as well.
Well, she's done! Hasegawa's 1:48 Scale B5N2, Type 97 Carrier Attack Plane, Model 3.
Flown from IJN Hiryu on the morning of 4 June, 1942 by Lt. Tomonaga Joichi, for the morning strike on Midway itself. He also flew this American aircraft carrier for one of the afternoon strikes on the American carrier, USS Yorktown, from which he would not return, shot down by Lcdr James S. "Jimmy" Thatch.
