148th scale Accurate Miniatures TBM Avenger

AM kits are wonderfull kits heavy detail and really good fits I did find some room for additional detail in the fuel tank access panel and added some PE seat belts drilled out the guns and exhaust tubes both of my uncles flew in these in 1943-1945 one as radio man the other was turret gunner one uncle the radio man whent on to work for Lockheed after the war and worked with Kelly Johnson at the skunk works. He worked on the u2 and sr71 He has awesome stories

    Steven .. went to college with a guy that flew an ATM .. wish he could see THIS fantastic build .. like Seamus said .. NICE weathering effect .. as it should be after many flights/usage ! the details are SUPERB .. with the looks of LOTS of patience ! ANOTHER AWESOME model by you !

    • thank you so much Ray I had some help from my uncles who both flew in these during the war they both shared there stories and what they could remember about conditions of aircraft it helps seeing it through the eyes of someone whom was there
