Sopwith-Strutter Первомайский Труд 1/72 Восточный Экспресс / ex-TOKO
Again Strutter!
At this time of the Civil War.
Unit: one of reconnaissance regiments, 5th army. Inokkentievskaja station, near the Irkutsk, 1920.
Pleasant viewing.
Best regards, Vlad.
Stellar build and presentation as always, Vlad. I dunno how you do this in 1/72nd scale. I certainly wouldn't try it... beautiful work, sir.
1/72nd? Wow, that is beautiful. I struggle with rigging 1/48, I cannot imagine trying it in 1/72. Great job!
Thank you, friends!
Best regards, Vlad.
Ver-eee cool. Work on the micro-machine gun and Scarff mount are especially impressive.
That is absolutely fantastic Vlad.
A very well built and finished Bi-plane on that scale.
Well done Vlad.
Right up there to your usual standards Vlad.
Well done.
Another great build Vlad. The photo etch you added is incredibly small! I would see the star for one side of the civil war, but not so sure since it is blue. Which side is it, and does the slogan on the fuselage give it away?

Star.
Their shape, size and color depend on the availability of local artist and paint. Often old markings have not changed at all.

Thanks Vlad. Questions answered. I enjoyed the longer photo series on scalemodels.ru I really admire the work you can do on these planes in 1/72 scale.
Vlad,
Another beauty. You continue to amaze me with these gorgeous little airplanes. I am very impressed with your work
Great detail in this scale. Really like the rib shading.
Superb build and photos Vlad - excellent model.
darn fine work
Spasibo, friends! 🙂
Best regards, Vlad.
Another Masterpiece Vlad, 1/72 is my preferred scale but these little beauties are beyond the limits of my fat fingers and poor old eyes
Fantastic Work Vlad!
Cheers
Mark
Thank you, Mark!
Best regards, Vlad.
Good stuff, Vlad!
Nice clean build, wonderful detail. Are the green and white stripes considered camouflage?
Thank you, friends!
Camouflage should visually distort the shape of the aircraft. Green stripes on the yellowish on canvas and do. So, yes, Mike.
Best regards, Vlad.
Very pleasant viewing, indeed, Vlad. Thank you for sharing with us, it's incredible how you get so much detail in this scale.
Thank you, George!
Best regards, Vlad.
