HeritageCon 2022: The Return of a scale model show and contest!
After an unfortunate hiatus due to factors beyond anyone's control, March 27, 2022 saw the triumphant return of HeritageCon at the unique and wonderful Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum on a cool windy day in Hamilton Ontario. For those who don't know, HeritageCon is the annual scale model show and contest hosted by IPMS Hamilton Scale Modelers. They bill this show as "Canada's Greatest Hobby Show & Contest". Is this accurate or a boast?

The Warplane Heritage is truly a special place, and having brought back the model show, I hope they can get their airshow up and running again. Home to one of only two flying Lancasters, and other classics still flying. Apparently their Avenger has now done test flying, and just waiting for paperwork.
The show was a lot of fun. So glad to see them back in action.

Great video Chris, lots of eye candy on the tables to view. Trust the vendors had a good day as well. Thanks for sharing. BTY, had a chance to see that Lancaster fly several years ago at 'A Gathering of Mustangs and Legends" in Columbus, Ohio. Impressive comes to mind.,
