I've got to see this! I love the story..."the Flying Dutchman" meets "Stranger to the Ground". I have a first edition of the book. I bought it when it first came out.
Hopefully this will make its way to other venues since I had to let Disney Plus go. Although not related except they cover the same approximate era, "High Flight" from 1957 is a pretty good RAF post war flying film. Vampires, Hunters, and other RAF aircraft.
The way things are right now for the studios, do not hold your breath expecting it to show up anywhere but D+ - I'd really hate to see you turn blue and die, Carl! 🙂
Love it already, Tom!
Thanks!
Wow! That short really looks good. John Travolta still has his movie mojo, I see. Thanks for posting this heads-up, Tom. I appreciate it.
One movie that I would see in a theatre.
I'll be waiting for it! 👍

Great news! All you Shepherd fans should listen to this classic reading by the late Alan Maitland, a longtime CBC radio host.

My wife and I listen to it every Christmas with the grandson.
Cheers all.
Would love to see this movie, Tom @tcinla
Thanks for notifying.
A must see.

The trailer is very cool, Tom (@tcinla). I read the novella many years ago, but I have always remembered it.
Love the CBC presentation...Hopefully this will become a yearly holiday watch as well. Thanks, Tom.
