How in hell did I do these, the Airfix kits, two books, six articles, and had time for a life?
I wish I could get a whole bag of those pilot figures such as you have in "Big Beautiful Doll"...(even though I suck at figure painting, that's the most realistic-looking figure I've seen yet). Wonder if I could buy a few from Tamiya..? 🙂
That was in theri "Eight Air force Aces" special boxing, and yeah, it was such a great figure i decided to use it, which I normally don't.
Yeah I know...maybe I'll ask 'em if I can buy a whole sprue of 'em - can't hurt to ask I guess.
Hat off for great productivity!
An eclectic group, clearly by subject preference rather than by country/Air Force.
If there's any "themes" in my modeling they would be "RAF/FAA" and "USN", but the dominant theme is probably "historically interesting airplane" and/or "aesthetically interesting airplane" (not necessarily beautiful).
Love that F2F!
I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite out of this bunch. They are all excellent. Thanks for sharing.
These things ARE your life. Makes it easier. The F2F is my favorite.
Mine too. Waited 50 years for one.
Nice variety Tom. How was the Hobbycraft F-94 build? I've built several different Hobbycraft 1/48s and most seem to be more putty than plastic
It went together quite nicely, only a fery little bit of filler on the fuselage centerline. It's definitely in need of aftermarket decals, of which Expert's Choice did a couple. You can find them on eBay.
