Hasegawa 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6

After a nearly 2 1/2 year hiatus from scale modeling, I chose this project to blow the dust off of my creativity. All told, I spent about a month from start to completion. This model depicts a Bf 109G-6 of 7./JG3 -White 10 + Black I, Bad Worisho[...]

Victory 200 : F-14A, VF-84, 1986-1988.

I started this kit back in November 2016, when it was released. As the Tomcat is a complex machine, so is every model kit of it. I worked on this off and on, fighting boredom and loss of interest for 3.5 months. It's a very, very good kit - the[...]

Otaki 1/48 Focke-Wulf FW-190

An old kit from the 1970s, but went together very well. No putty or filler needed anywhere. Painted with Gunze-Sangyo acrylics, and markings are from an old Cutting Edge sheet. The only modifications done were drilling out the gun barrels.

Hasegawa 1/32 Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero Type 52 Hei

I finished this up last week, for am IPMS/USA review. It's a great kit. The only additions I made was in the form of a set of Radu Brinzan's paper seat harnesses.

Hasegawa 1/32 Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8, Hans Dortenmann

1/32 Hasegawa Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8 built OOB, except for an Eduard PE seat harness. AK Interactive acrylic paints, except for the RLM 74-it was a bit light, so I used Gunze-Sangyo. The base is from Zoukie-Mura. Weathered with oils. I really man[...]
