For the first time in a little over 10 years, I have a studio/workplace that I am happy with. Custom-designed by me with IKEA components, and Wallniture shelving from Amazon. The desktop is 58.25x28.75" of tempered glass, and provides a LOT of w[...]

After a nearly 2 1/2 year hiatus from scale modeling, I chose this project to blow the dust off of my creativity. All told, I spent about a month from start to completion. This model depicts a Bf 109G-6 of 7./JG3 -White 10 + Black I, Bad Worisho[...]

An old kit from the 1970s, but went together very well. No putty or filler needed anywhere.
Painted with Gunze-Sangyo acrylics, and markings are from an old Cutting Edge sheet.
The only modifications done were drilling out the gun barrels.
I finished this up last week, for am IPMS/USA review. It's a great kit.
The only additions I made was in the form of a set of Radu Brinzan's paper seat harnesses.
Although these aren't models, perhaps they will serve as inspiration? Worth a shot!
There are a few more in my SmugMug gallery that were too large to upload here.
I won the random drawing award for May 2016! WooHoo!!!!
Thank you Martin, and thank you iModeler - The best modeling site online.
(P.S. this one goes to the top of the "to do" pile...)
