That's some 'very complete' masking Allan - good to see some of the methods for your clean paint jobs in this thread - thank you!
Thanks Paul, with a coat of Klear on, except for the handle at the rear !

A little touch up of the grey after sanding the edges of the blue band !
Simply amazing work Allan... 🙂
The masking pulled some of the Klear off but ready for decals now !

Looking very nice now, Allan - I think this is shaping up as one of my favourites in RAF100!
Thank you Paul, decals on except for the rotor, now for the finish coats and all the other bits !
Now with the rotor done that's all the decals finished !
It's getting absolutely wonderful Allan.
Thanks Ferry.
Ahhh the Wessex, only aircraft to make me sick (literally). Superb work friend, will be stunning when it's done.
Ian.
Thanks Ian, who's Wessex made you sick ?
SARTU at RAF Valley... kerosene fumes flooding the cabin combined with obscuring the radio operators window with an extra equipment rack. Lost the horizon and so lost my breakfast (Ewwww...). So instead of operating the radio in the air, I transferred to instructing on the ground ! - it was a temporary reassignment, I went back to Coltishall within six months - Jag's were much more 'my thing' !
Thanks for the reply Ian, sounds like you were having fun !
...only when I got back to Coltishall !
