    Hi everyone!
Tonight I spent some time assembling external stores:

They are somehow (simple) models by themselves!
Also, the MLG legs were completed:

They attach to the fuselage in an awkward way, possibly like in reality; I have some concerns about rigidity, but we will see...

I’m not really a jet type person, but I have built a couple revell ones in 1/48, and those connections really can be iffy. Those external stores are nice looking! Always my favorite part, putting on the bombs, tanks, rockets, missiles, radar pods, or what have you. Been a while for an update with this. I hope to see another one soon!

    Hey Jordyn @1corsair64!
Yep, wing connections on the birds are iffy for sure.
My Tornado has lagged a bit, mainly due to other models taken priority...
...which is a shame, so, motivated by you, I might restart it soon!

Hey Spiros, it does seem like the contact point of the main strut within the gear bay may not be the best to keep a quite large and heavy Tornado. Especially overtime sitting on the shelf. And withstand any handling in the future. Good to see some progress as well.

Thanks Chuck @uscusn! I am worried about the strength of the joibt, too!
My EoJ GB Toryu is finishing, so, next, is the Tornado!

Spiros, have a tasking order ready for your Tornado once you get it finished.

    Restarting...

After a 9+month deep stall, my Mig Eater has recovered! here she is puttied and with the "flexible wing seals" attached:
The gazillion of sway braces for the pylons were painted steel, while still attached at the sprue:
    Thanks for stopping by!

Have to start reading this entire thread, Spiros @fiveten.
Looking at the current progress, I'm happy that you started to finish this one.
This will be an awesome MiG eater.

Ah nice to see the Tornado back in the shop under construction. Fire up the glue, grab a paint brush, don't forget the sandpaper and files. Shape up a grand Tornado Spiros. And lets see it till the end. A bit of Inspiration.

I really missed working on my big Tornado, so happy to work again with it!
    Your RSAF Tornado looks wonderful!

    Filling/sanding sessions...

First round of filling and sanding has finished, with a number of areas requiring further attention. Here is the Mig Eater:
The wing seals did not turn out too bad:
Now some little, delicate "addons" will be attached onto the basic model, with another filling/sanding session taking place afterwards...
    Thanks for stopping by!

I added the FLIR fairing and a 2-piece airscooop behind it. The FLIR fairing had a protrusion molded on that needed to be shaved. The three "boxes" that are hosted into the NLG bay were painted "tank gray". Here she is:

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Good progress, Spiros @fiveten
Filling and sanding is not my favorite part but unfortunately sometimes required.

    Thanks my friend @johnb!
This is a model that requires quite a few filling/sanding loops!
