It has been a while since I have looked at your build journal. By the looks of things, you will be painting more very soon. It is really looking good, and I would like to know how the first test flights go ... 🙂

Finally painting has started.

Painting continues...

Started to apply "Desert Sand", some sanding imperfections have already appeared, so another sanding will be spot-commenced upon paint drying.

Typically, "Desert Storm" Tornado external tanks were painted Desert Sand, but there were cases where RAF gray ones were worn (possibly due to not having the time to be repainted?). I thus took the opportunity to add some "interest" to the nice but nevertheless monotonous Desert Sand model, and painted the 2250ltr external tanks a lovely RAF medium gray. Here is the progress so far:
