    Here are a few pictures showing the end results of this build, more of which will be revealed sometime after June 3rd, 2017...

    Douglas TBD Devastator, Bureau Number 0327

    Lost on June 4th, 1942, Battle of Midway. Flown from the USS Enterprise, VT-6 as "T-14" on its last mission. Crew members Ensign Brock and ARM3C Blundell Killed in Action on that fateful day.

    The first photo is the inspiration that started it all. Its an original pre WW2 color photo that was in the "LIFE" magazine.

    and how the TBD came out... pretty close. If the lighting was better I may be able to reproduce the shadows.

    What a beauty! Looks like the original, also a beauty! End of the Yellow Wings era, and a lot of other things.
