Ok, So a series of photos here showing stages of paint the main blue grey and light grey colours are Life Colour, with Tamiya for insignia colours and Humbrol for everything else!

There's just something about Blue Gray with red and white rudder stripes... Toss in the early War US insignia with the red centers and it's like icing on the cake... (although I wouldn't care to fly one marked like that into combat). To me it seems to be pretty bold and easily seen, which is not what you want... Looks Great David ! Thanks for posting.

I had started work again on this kit only recently. I looked at the last post and realised I must have made it just before going into Hospital. While not forgotten I was not in the right frame of mind to finish it until now.
I got my head down the other day and with the help of a Montex mask manged to get the 'greenhouse' masked!

A true hangar queen brought back to the runway. That’s one good looking Devastator, particularly the blending of shades, very well executed imo.
