    Hi everyone!

This kis my Heller 1/72 Caudron Renault 714 that I decided to start today.

Here are the kit contents, an old school simplistic, yet adequate kit...

Only the box art scheme is provided, which is the one I am going to do.

The petite model will be sent to a good friend in France as a Christmas present, so it must be finished by the end of November.

I drilled out the exhausts and hollowed the radiator inlet, adding a piece of mesh, in order to represent the radiator face...

Here is what I did this afternoon... More to come!

    An excellent start, Spiros @fiveten
Very nice upgrade for the radiator.
The scheme looks amazing, seems quite challenging.
Your friend will be amazed upon opening his package, great idea.

Initial filling with liquefied styrene and initial sanding performed, now onto normal filler...

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Nice progress, Spiros @fiveten
Ready in November should be doable at this pace.

Some gaps were too big, so another round of liquefied styrene instead of normal filler...

    Thanks for stopping by!

LqS to the rescue, Spiros @fiveten
This will for sure heal the gaps.

Looks great, Spiros (@fiveten). I don't think I have ever seen this kit built. The good news is that aren't many parts to deal with. The bad news is that you will be probably adding a lot of detail. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Sanded smooth, needing another filling round...

Some ribbing was also added to the wheel bays to make them look busier... Thanks for stopping by!
