Hi, Is there anybody here to tell me, whether the wheels of the P-40N Lulu Belle's are 30” x 10” standard ones or 27” light weight ones on the attached picture ? It seems like the standard ones. Thanks in advance

Tolga, I think as part of a weight reduction programme P-51 wheels were substituted for the P-40N's wheels, but the wells themselves remained the same size, hence some modellers commenting that some N kit wheels looked too small.
Others may know better than I.
Well, comparing the two on this photo, I would say the standard ones.
Yes I'd say standard wheel hubs but nicely painted ☑️
Thanks a lot for your comments and opinions. I am preparing myself to start this one in 1/32 scale by using fündekals stuff. By the way I can not access to Fündekals website. Do you have any information about this? Happy modelling
Just tried http://www.fundekals.com and the link came up OK.
Bizarre! It s impossible to access there from here in Turkey. "Adress not found message" is very meaningless. Hope that this is not a new restriction of the government.
Well, Can anybody enter to Fündekals website and copy the instruction sheet of P-40N Lulu Belle and send to my e mail adress in JPEG format? I can not enter to website of Fündekals here, it s absolutely impossible. Thanks in Advance.
Ok will try. Have downloaded PDF of decal sheet please check your private messages to let me know your email address.
PS to note PDF version is all that is available, not JPEG, but should be fine.
I'm with Rob on the P-51 tires. Ultra Cast makes some smart resin wheels although they are cast with the spokes faces and not the metal cover plate.
Hi Stephen, This will be built in 1/32 scale. So there aren't so many alternatives about the wheels. The only option as standard size P-40N diamond tread wheel is from Eclipse model design. http://eshop.eclipsemodels.co.uk/epages/BT4380.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT4380/Products/%22EMD%20A32004%22
The scale of 1/32 really is no choice. I have planned the 1/48 Lulu Belle with decal from Fündekals . Im also make deep research in relation to the wheels and that the plane had Curtiss P-40N Covered Wheels Diamond Tread 27" light weight wheels. similar wheels are in At-6/Texan/ Harvard. P.k
