Time to finally get this started, a review of the contents of this kit was posted awile ago, so I will forego the whats in the box part of the build and will start with pre-painting of some of the interior parts on the sprue. Looking at interior shots of the early A/B/C versions as far as I can find is Green in cockpit, the bomb bay aluminum and the rear section Interior Green.

The landing gear is painted Vallejo Steel. Aluminum is airbrushed to bobm bay section.

The nose and main geair struts.

I will be using the Kelik interior enhancement set.

Holes are opened up for the gun packs.

Next upo step 1 and start work on the interior.

    More to follow

Thanks Spiros, a totally new kit to build, looking forward to the journey.
Thanks Capt R- hoping it will be.
Thanks John- If it is like the Invader series, it should be a nice challenge.

Will start with the interior, starting along the LH side components.

1st piece is a electrical box that will mount in the bpmbardiers nose compartment.

Next is to install the LH side console panel in the flight compartment. Apply the enhanced control boxes, pouch and controls over the kit parts.

Next is the LH rear track/rail is painted Aluminum and mounts on the LH rear section of the gunners compartment.

The upper jump seat cushion is painted Dk Grey and attached to the LH rear gunners compartment below the rail.

Moving on to the bomb bay. Painted Vallejo Aluminum, the bomb rack is installed. Unpainted.

A couple of detail parts are attached to the LH bomb bay wall, these will be painted Vallejo steel.

Next up more interior work to assemble,
    more to follow.

Thanks John, much more details on the ICM kit over the Monogram. Which is a surprise as Monogram has had well detailed interiors in their base kit to work with.
Thanks Spiros, more to come as we continue with the interior,

More details to add to the LH side fuselage half.

Installing the LH rear gunners window. ICM glass so far I have found to be crystal clear.

Next to work on the nose gear bay.

Boxing in the nose gear bay with the side and front walls. The overall color is Interior Green.

Once the walls are installed, next is to install the upper roof reinforcement bars. Will paint this MM Interior Green later in the build.

Next up start work on the flight deck.

    More to follow

Now to flip the wheel bay over as it also serves as the flight deck. 1st to assemble the pilots seat. The armrests I will install later in this process.

The seat consist of the lower/upper seat back, the seat frame, the upper seat back is black with a brown headrest.

Next more parts to add to the flight deck.

The upper and lower flight deck panels are assembled.

Next is to attach the lower seat cushion decal to the seat.

The pedals are next to be attached to the floor.

Next to assemble the center console.

4 pieces are assembled and then the details are sanded off.

    The instrument panel is next.

The center console is painted Tamiya Semi Gloss Black and the detail decal panels are applied. Then cemented in place on the flight deck. The cockpit floor is given a wash and silver pencil to highlight wear and scuff marks.

Next is to prepare the pilots control column.

The column is painted Black, the boot is Khaki Drab. The steering wheel is Tamiya Gloss Black.

The IP has the decal applied

The control wheel is attached to the LH side of the console.

The control column is then attatched to the cockpit floor.
