I sanded smooth fuselage. During this work I made controversial thing. I found that two nasty covers in upper surface of fuselage was very poorly made blank Windows. After plenty of time that I try to putty and sand this places it still look nasty. Finally I sanded all smooth. I’m not good as Spiros to made scratch build window so if Airfix gave poorly made substitute without clear parts I decided to remove both of them. I Also found that Revell has this parts as clear parts. So mabye it is better kit of Lancaster.

Received this Revell Lancaster in 1/72 already one month ago to participate in Bernard's excellent Dambuster group build.

My appologies for not being more active on this kit, mainly due to other ongoing builds and real life activities.

As said one month ago, I was able to purchase this kit for just €25 including shipping cost, a bargain it seems. When opening the box I was surprised by the amount of sprues you get for this relatively cheap kit.

Four plastic bags, containg a total of 8 sprues, 7 black ones and 1 transparant. A black/white instruction booklet and a decal sheet.

@johnb Looks very promising! Three painting opitons! I don't like black sprues that remind me old Airfix kit, but mabye It will be good. You will buy masks?

So I started priming. As usual it is fight for smooth surface.
