I found that I forgot two small pieces of mask. I clean two places on the turret and put them on glass. I hope it will work.

I just jumped in to your Lancaster build, Bernard (@lis). Your Dam Buster looks great. These bombers can be very intricate, and you are making great progress.

Do not worry @lis, this will look great. I do look forward to seeing how you do the paint job and how you proceed with weathering.

You might have spent quite some time yesterday but the results are definitely worth it.

Thank You friends for your words of appreciation. Work is slowly progressing. Yesterday, it took me all afternoon, evening and half the night to paint the undersides in Night color. I had to make touch-ups after the gray primer splashed on me. Fortunately, it was not so dramatic and after a few hours the imperfections were removed. Improved masking on the front turret was also painted night. Of course, I'm afraid if the end result will be quite good, but I hope so. I like clear and well-finished edges of the glazing truss. As for the Walls bomb, I forgot to put the stripe decal on it. I'm not a fan of stripes as a decal and unfortunately it didn't want to line up well (i.e. perfectly even) so I gave it up. I hope you'll like it anyway.

Edit. Sorry I have na error nad I send post second time. On circle part of Walls bomb rack had some touch-ups because of glue. I sand it and repaint it but minor touch ups are visible.

For painting the night color I watched this vid from

    Famoust Dambuster movie from 1955.

I am always keen to see how other people do pre- and post shading. Yours looks very clean and precise, Lis @lis!
