Inside engines mounted, they did fit quite nicely, no putty required here.
Finally mounted the outer engines as well. Does look much better as a four engine bomber.

@fiveten, thank you, Spiros. You didn't miss too much since progress is really slow. Lots of correction to be made on this Revell kit.
Mounted the landing gear, lost of tiny, fragile rods, which broke at several places. Was a nightmare to get everything lined up again. Let's see if the gear can handle the weight in the end. So far this kit has not been a joy to work on.
Looks like this kit is fighting you a lot, my friend @johnb. Excellent job despite the odds!

Flattened the tyres and with the big hole they will definitely remain flat.

I definitely should have listen to Bernard @lis, to purchase a masking set. i'm trying to make masks myself but it is a lot of work and likely not as nice as pre-cut ones.
