    I guess convincing our wives over like things is probably the most challenging modeling technique, my friend @johnb 😄

    Airfix has two types of figures. One more detailed and another less detailed and smaller. In Lancaster there is less detailed one. Very nice idea was decal with map.

    The map looks super, my friend @lis, as does the figure, even being one the smaller ones.

    The interior looks great already, Bernard @lis
    Especially the map is a nice detail as well as your paintwork on the pilot.
    Thanks to Tom @tcinla for directing us in the right direction regarding the interior color.

    @lis, @fiveten, after extending the "things-to-do-in-house-list", I succeeded in convincing my wife about necessity of this kit. It should arrive tomorrow, really looking forward to it and to join this great group build.

    It is fantastic News that You bought Lancaster! It will be Great build!
    PS. I made some research with Spiros and I found preserved Lancaster with green pilot compartment cockpit walls. Mabye sometime it was green too? On YT most modellers followed Airfix paiting guide. Some of them painted only in grey-green all interior.

    @lis, very nice reference picture, Bernard.

    Got mine delivered this morning. Will start with it after cleaning up the bench a bit. Luckily the La-11 is making good progress giving me some space at the bench.

    @lis - the green cockpit is postwar. Wartime cockpits were black.

    @tcinla I understand. I don't know if I can change it because I already have decals on the cockpit walls.
    @johnb Kit looks great!

    After weekend- event brake work slowly going on. All fuselage Windows was glued. I have some work with one small window in nose. It was a bit too small ( or I sanded it to much). I used Tamiya clear glue. Also I glued Vickers E machine gun under fuselage.
