    Capt. R./Bernard (@lis), your hardest critic is yourself. Giving yourself permission to do things or letting go of things can be challenging. Everything in building a kit is a work in progress, and you can leave it as is or go back and improve it guilt-free if you choose to do so. It looks like you have taken the time to regroup, think it over, and apply your gifts and talents with success and move forward. The end result will be a better kit, and anyone looking at your build will know that you applied yourself and put in the time to make it a special build worthy of praise. Things are popping, and there's no stopping you now. Looking good.

    Wing joint looks perfect, Bernard (@lis). What did you use to fill the gap?

    George I used white glue as putty, because it could be whiped off by earstick on painted surface.

    PS. Decaling complete. Photos after clear coat. Of course I have some accidents with Tamiya Mark fit. One Star was ruined (I use replacement for another set) and one technical decal on wing (very serious because I have to reprimed and repaint area, so there is slightly different shade of OD). I hope You like my work (I not at all).

    The decals do look really nice, Bernard @lis
    Good idea to use white glue for that gap, the result is perfect.
    I guess those nets on your balcony are to keep the cats inside, right?

    You should appreciate your paintwork, Bernard @lis. I know how frustrating fixing things can be, especially when you are getting to the finish line. But it happens to everyone and i would say it's part of the hobby. Your gloss coat is very smooth, something i always struggle with. And those smoke stains are great! Don't forget, your Liberator is looking great.
    Ps. White glue for putty is a neat idea!

    Regarding the space or crack between the wing and the fuselage, the white glue worked out. While Airfix's manufacturing process may have limitations, it is important to note historical painting techniques. for B-24 bombers were typically painted using spray guns, by people who could cover approximately 6x4 foot areas with paint batches that exhibited slight color variations. When these aircraft were deployed in the European Theater of Operations, environmental factors caused paint fading and color inconsistencies. Ground crew touch-ups often resulted in slightly darker paint applications, which is a standard and acceptable practice in aircraft maintenance. These minor variations in paint color and application are considered normal and do not significantly change the look of a B-24 that's been around the block is a given. capt R.(@lis) your touch up around the decal can be considered to be the norm for the real a/c.

    Things are moving forward and your closer to adding the landing gear and removing the masks. Some positive things are happening on this build.

    Decals look great and really brighten up the OD, Bernard (@lis). I have never had any problems with MarkFit. Are you using regular strength or the strong?

    @johnb Yes it is net for Cat to stay inside. Wellington yesterday jumped for mistake from second floor to the garden on ground. So net was importand to hang.

    @gblair I used factory fresh standard Mark Fit. Not strong one.

    @fiveten Thank You!

    PS. Few informations about decals: I used Wolpack Production that I bought on UK ebay. Decals are slightly thicker and need more softener than other brands. I prefer cateograph or Lifelike or my fav DK Decals. But Wolpack oferts few uncommon paintings as 459 BG or other planes from MTO like legendary Sandman from Pyramiders squadron.

    @fxrob This clear is H30 Mr Hobby.
