I found that window in walls in nose has a very various types with their bulged shape. Producers of aftermarket decals not always recongised differences.

I found three different shades excluded flat window.

    1. Strange bulged, 2. ridiculos rectangular bulged with various extra bulged windows (I have very nice decals for it but How can I made extra bulged windows?), 3. standard Airfix Bulged. 4. Flat.

Airfix kit has only option four or has various extra parts?

Indeed, too many variations on those windows, my friend @lis! Looks like you must gave photo evidence of the specific bird you are building, if you want to be accurate.

@fiveten Hard to find good version. I'll see if I can find the perfect version or turn a blind eye to it.
@fxrob I hope in next version will be more options.

@lis the way the kit is constructed it allows for different versions in the future.

@fxrob. Valiant Lady has bulged window type B. So Airfix don't recognize options. what's worse, aftermarket decal manufacturers don't understand the topic at all. What a disappointment it was to find out that Naughty Nan had these weird no. 1 windows.
    I found Type 5. Sth between 2, and 4.
    Type. 6 - egg

@lis, the clear parts are moulded in two sprues. So i assume Airfix go the same way they did with the Blenheim Mk I and IV. I mean it’s in their best interest 🙂but i will check the sprues again for you, just to be sure. Maybe those windows are already on the sprues.

On Areomaster Decals there is no differences in waist nose windows, but in Bombardiers window- yes (for H version more triangular shape).
PS. What would You choose from this paintings? Did You ever make research what Numbers of bomb groups take part in operation Market- Garden?

Hi Bernard (@lis): Great choices in decals. I would vote for Foil Proof, but the bulged windows may be an issue.

Decals do look great, Bernard @lis
Add me in for Foil Proof as well.

Foil Proof and Sharon D. Has egg windows. it's definitely some progress from Naughty Nan's window. But Foil proof has few decals missing? Or it will changed during exploatation? And my last sheet of decals. Aftermarket, laser printed from France in compare with photos of Areomaster Decals (with missing girl?). Manual suggest bulged windows, but in real are flat? Last photo for Miss Judy decals manual. Quite complicated. Did You ever use this sheet of decals?

B-24s are many times obscure subjects regarding decal accuracy, my friend @lis. It is very probable that Foil Proof's decoration evolved with time.
