Well, i‘m just gonna go with what Airfix provided and trust their research. If you want them gone, you can just sand them.

Anyway, i finished sanding the fuselage- finally! Will rescribe some lines but overall i am happy with it. On to the wings! As i worked on the engine nacelles, i realised another piece was shot, something i did not see when i asked for replacements from Airfix. It’s kind of funny however and i am thinking of leaving it as it is, kind of like a souvenir. Also, it’s not that visible as it will be close to the fuselage.

Nasty gap! I Think You need to make photo and send to Airfix second time.

Finally! Engines mounted, flaps in place and on they are. Just like that the build picks up pace and it’s starting to look like a Liberator. The tailplane rudders will be painted individually, so i am not glueing them on yet.
As for the shot engine nacelles, i inserted tape and might fill it up with putty.

Wow, Felix (@fxrob), what a huge problem area in the kit. I am surprised it made it through quality control. Your post made me want to run out to the garage and open my kits to check to be sure everything was properly molded.

@gblair I usually checked all Airfix kits after I recived package. Of course, as long as you can see something through the foil. Unfortunately, I also had a few cases where something was missing.
@fxrob. Main canopy is devided on three elements?

@lis, the main canopy consists of one frame, which is really nice. Just like in the B-25 kit. The two schemes have different canopies, by the way!

@fxrob So two complete canopies included?

Did u see @lis, Airfix will release this kit also in the D variant. I like the first schemes better, though.

@fxrob. I only see "Lady to be good" scheme (if You know history of this plane - she crashed in Tunesia and all crew try to back to airfield but they died because of lack of water).
PS.I was honestly counting on RAF versions in the next release.
