    @yann, more than welcome, Yann. Looking forward to your "Belle". Currently building the "Shamrock" from the same box.

    Thanks to all for the praise for "My Devotion," and welcome to the party @yann. My project is on the verge of completion, I could post progress pics but I'll save it 'til it's done. I intend to do a few more and Wabash Cannonball is in the pipeline (after I complete a couple of priority projects.) I want to add a movie airplane, one of the things I have in mind. I'd like to get my hands on the Special Hobby Lockheed Electra so I can build the "plane to Lisbon" from the holy grail of classic film, "Casablanca." But for here, I intend to build Academy's B-17C as the "Mary Ann" from Howard Hawks' "Air Force" (1943.) I think the real airplane the film was based on was a "D" model, but the airplane used in the movie is definitely a "C" model, most of the "C"s went to the RAF and I think the few left were mostly used to train crews. Anyway, that's what I have in mind for this GB...

    Thanks for the acceptance guys. Here are some of my little progress on the Belle. Starting with the bomb bay as per the manual:

    For this build I decided to keep the bomb bay doors open.

    Eduard masks is good but anti glare pannel w before cockpit don't fit perfectly. Today I started overall natural metal painting. But I have accident during painting. Under engine nr 3 big dot of paint Fall from airbush, and I had to sanding this place and repaint. This is slightly visible but of course this shortcoming could be see in good Light. I'm disapointed.

    I splashed mine twice Lis, it's a drag, but all you can do is sand and press on...

    @gblair I hope it looks now enaugh good 🙂
    @davekight
    It is nightmare for all modelers, but, as You said - sanding and repainting is only way.

    Great movie ideas, David (@davekight). I have thought about doing Mary Ann before, and I even have Academy's B-17C around somewhere. Building the plane from Casablanca would indeed be a Holy Grail experience. Looking forward to both.

    I think your plane looks great, Bernard (@lis). My old Paasche H airbrush has a paint cup that doesn't have a lid. I can't tell you how many times I have leaned the airbrush to get into a tight spot and sloshed some paint onto the model. There is nothing to be done at that point but to use a few choice words and see what needs to be done to recover. I always figure that if models went perfectly then everybody would build them.

    Airbrushing these difficult to reach areas is really challenging, with your experience you will get it done nicely.
