    Hi guys, I'm back in the business after some demotivation... Anyway thanks for your good words. After all the misadventure the Belle suffered I eventually applied the matt coat and remove the masking tape from th transparent tapes. Here under the result.

    The pitot tube still to be re-glued after washing the surface

    Next step will be to add the .50 caliber where they are missing

    And now the disaster I created...

    There is a lot of missing decal. I will try to add some I still have from the decal sheet to save what can be save...

    Thanks for passing by.

    Looking great, Yann @yann
    Pretty sure you will save the lower surface.

    Looks great, Yann (@yann). Glad you got your motivation back to continue. Bombers are complex and can really drain your mojo. I built a B-17 a while back and decided I would wait for a while before building another.

    Still continue my work on the nose of the Fortress. Slowly it starts to look a bit smoother although I'm a bit worried how it will look like once I remove the masks. Today I applied a uniform grey color which, unfortunately, revealed some more areas to improve.

    Getting better and better, my friend @johnb!

    The nose of B-17s is always a problem area, John (@johnb), especially forward of the navigator's dome. Not only is it a tough place to glue, it is also a tough place to fill and sand. Looks like you have it all figured out.

    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros.
    @gblair, thanks, George. Indeed, the most difficulty to get it corrected is the location. Also the masks do make it not that easy to see what the results are.

    Looks quite good! Sanding is always hard work.

    @yann Kits-World has some technical stencils for B-17. Mabye You can use it. But your B-17 looks better than You wrote 🙂

    @lis, thank you, Bernard. Sanding is simply not my favorite part of modelling, although it does improve the looks a lot.
