    Each bomb, two halfs, as usual.
    Fitting is very nice.

    @johnb Bombs looks better than Airfix!

    PS. How looks Your Kits-World Decals? My set was a little crumpled, and I'm a little bit dissapointed. I wonder if this will affect the decal application or should I convert it to bait for fish right away.

    @fiveten

    PS2. My Flying Fortress had a coat of black primer, and after polishing it looks like on photo. I have serios problems with aimer compartment, because when I stick turret under nose floor poped out, and it drive me crazy! I need to tear off the nasal glazing and painstakingly correct everything in fuselage. Due to these corrections, the turret seems to be slightly crooked, which of course I do not like very much.

    @lis, thank you Bernard.
    My set of decals from Kits-world do look ok. I am definitely going to use them on a B17G if I can find an nicely priced one.

    The black primer does look very nice, do you think you are able to solve turret with some liquified putty?

    Airbrushed the bombs, bomb bay and part of the interior.

    @fiveten Thank You! But What I need to do with turret? Looks like the F version is much safer to build 🙂

    @johnb I'm not sure what you mean. The turret enters such a recess under the nose of the hull. Generally the opening is a bit too small. The floor of the bombardier stand peeled off during the first match. During subsequent attempts and gluing the floor, I assembled the turret more carefully (but overall the opening could be judged to be slightly too smal), but as you can see (or not ;-)) in the photo, its left side is slightly less pressed. A few close-up photos. Do you suggest filling this gap with putty? I'm not sure if it will turn out well. On the other hand, I have no idea how to gently fix it.

    @lis, I do understand now what you mean, Bernard. I think it will be barely visible once the entire build is done. Filling this gap is not a good idea.

    @johnb I guess you're right and I'll leave it at that. I am afraid to tear the glazing again and fix the floor. if someone asks what is wrong with the Airfix set. I answer. butt jointing the floor of the bombardier compartment without any essential assembly points. If it has nothing to deny, how can you press a large part of it against it, which is supposed to fit perfectly?

    Try to fill the gap with white glue, my friend @lis but do it AFTER painting: apply tiny amounts in the gap with a toothpick, then, immediately afterwards wipe the excess off (with a dump cotton bud). The white glue will dry transparent, fill the gap and, indeed, will "take" the surrounding color. This is a very useful trick I learned from Tom Cleaver @tcinla.

    @fiveten I will try on that way 🙂 Thank You!

    @johnb

    By the way, I was spending my vacation day at the seaside near Choczewo. There is a new interesting monument that refers to our group construction. In the nearby town there had been an information board for many years about these planes, but the monument at the site of the crash of one of them is a novelty.
