Since you got the pieces, the instructions and the decals, I cannot see why not building Sally B, my friend @johnb!

I unpacked new old 🙂 B-17 box. There are a lot of options, but, as I said before, unfortunetly decals are yellowed. Some optionc I can find as aftermerket decals, as Maiami Clipper, Hells Angels, or Memfis belle. But Stuff and Ole Puss, are unavalible.

@lis, regarding the decals, since I will not be using my original decals from the box, I can sent them to you if you want.

You can tape the yellowed decals from the inside of a window facing strong sun, my friend @lis. After a week, sometimes, not always, the yellowness disappears!

@lis, those are the decals from the box.
They are for the "Memphis Belle" and the "Shamrock Special".
If you wish I can sent you the decals, the stencils I do require for my own build.

As is the case, a great friend saved the day, my friend @lis! But, again, I would expect nothing less from a wonderful person like @johnb, I am so proud he is my friend.

Regarding the sunbath, decals, I have done it a few times, most of the times the yellowness goes away completely or almost completely. At one case it did not go away. But I never saw fading signs nontheless. Giving it a try might not be a bad idea. What do you have to lose?

Kind of, in a way, yes @Lis. The kit is a special edition that was issued by Hasegawa with Aeromaster decals. As you may know, Aeromaster is no longer in business. It was a mid-90s reissue, there are a few still out there for sale...
