A wonderful result, my friend @yann! Looking forward to see the outdoor pics!
Great result! I,m wainting for Your article on headnews!
Beautiful result on the Memphis, Yann @yann She will look great on the headlines. Thanks for looking my Sally B, I also saw her in discord, an amazing aircraft.
I've haven't had the opportunity to see all of the builds, Yann @yann your build came out with some good results. The bomb bay interior shots and the doors are of note and the photos of the top side look impressive. I can only parrot what the rest have written, can't wait to see the headline news.
Add my congrats on a terrific B-17, Yann (@yann). A classic paint scheme that is well-done.
Preperation on the landing gear, wheels are painted and hlaves are put together. Painting of the struts as well. Final work will be done prior to mounting in the wheel wells.
Landing gear process looks good, my friend @johnb, as well as the lower area shade. An additional thin layer is a good idea.
@fiveten, thank you, Spiros.
Today preperations were made to finally apply to OD. The wing edge heaters were already masked, next patafix was used to mark the transistion between the grey on the lower surface and the OD for the upper. I tried to follow the transitions as much equal to the ones on the Sally B.
Really great preparations, my friend @johnb!
@fiveten, thanks, Spiros.
You can see the end of work on the horizon. Can't wait!
@lis, thanks, Bernard. Hopefully I can get the OD on nicely.
The paint looks really nice, John (@johnb). The preshading on the bottom was showing nicely, be careful not to cover it up with another layer. The preshaded top also really looks nice. Looking forward to seeing all the paint on.
@gblair, thank you very much, George. I should be able to get that done this week in between the installation of the Christmas decoration sessions.
