    Lis (@lis),

Yeah its a PITA but, not the end of the world. Sometimes you carry that stone and walk that mile longer to get to the end. But, in the end your going to have great kit .

After very long work I repainted fuselage. Unfortunetly I found on right wing nasty scratch. I sanded and repainted this place but I cand catch the same shade. I repainted few times but under light this place are visible as lighter OD. What do You think about this?

After taking masks. Some de-icer boots has imperfections because of home made masks. I think I need to repaint it in some places.

Boo boos, scratches and mistakes can be opportunities. The Olive Drab repaint that ends up being lighter than the surrounding back round could be viewed as normal wear and tear. Olive Drab fades frequently, and the crew chief would do touch ups in and around what ever section of the aircraft that needed TLC. Its getting things to look as if they faded naturally in a given area. Everything is coming up roses or its just fine Lis (@lis). You want a combat Veteran not a country gentleman whose flying a new aircraft off the show room floor.

    Two thumbs up.

I made sooty from exhaust gases. What do You thing about it? I made narrow stream of paint but some paint land near engines. I’m not sure that I like it.
