During the construction of the Hasegawa B-17, I received a very interesting B-25 model on the occasion of my name day in late August. Lieutenant Colonel Dolittle's raid was completely unprecedented, as the practicalities changed the fate of the war in the Pacific. Though its tactical influence was rather limited, it strategically forced the Japanese to advance towards Midway, which led the Empire of Japan to its final collapse in the summer of 1945.

What a fantastic entry, my friend @lis! Looks to be a great kit and I can see some extras already 🙂
    Looking forward to it!

Get the SAC (Scale Aircraft Conversion) white metal set for this kit - includes enough interior that you get enough weight to have a nose sitter. The kit is notoriously difficult to nose-sit just stuffing weights in because there isn't room.

@tcinla I bought some fishing lead. Some people mount the load under the pilots' floor. I've seen movies on YT. Unfortunately, I did not come to buy the set you describe, but I bought bronze castings of the landing gear legs, because those from the set seemed too tight in the frames to me

@johnb @fiveten I hope it will fit good. They are definitely more solid than plastic ones.

PS. My very first steps with Mitchell.

The start looks very promissing, Bernard @lis
That undercarriage will be a nice addition.
