Wow, the canopy is impeccable! Looks fantastic!

while removing the sponge masking the hatches under the fuselage, it turned out that the sponge in unknown circumstances stuck to the edge of the hatch from the inside. I don't know what happened or what happened but I'm p****d. finally I glued small pieces of polystyrene to the inside of the lid and using Tamiya Clear glue, from the inside I glued the lid in the closed position. This is what I could do without repainting.

PS. I had to drill the propeller mounting hole. The crust was too thick. Such memories from the times of the old airfix, which should not be repeated today.

Great save, Bernard (@lis). I have done similar things and your remedy worked well. The plane came out perfect, and photographed against the carrier deck makes it look even better.

I decided to make one more figure. It’s carrier deck crewnan. Pilot will be waiting for a next project.
