    This is looking really good. I have the airliner version in the stash and your experience is encouraging.

    I second the Yellow ID markings. That color can be difficult. Mr. Color paints seem to have a good reputation and Capt R (@lis) your really bringing out the best in this kit.

    Very, very nice paintjob @lis. I don't do luftwaffe planes, but your camo is looking great!

    Very nice progress Lis, @lis nice work with the paint. All that corrugation sure does add alot of interest and pops with the addition of paint. Nice work on your seams, it looks like you really nailed it on this one. I am lucky the Monogram kit I am working on is one of there best ones for fit.

    Thank you for your kind words! Painting the surface to imitate corrugated iron with straight lines was a bit of a challenge. Initially, I tried to paint camo pattern from a stencil, but the paint got under the masking tape and in the end I did everything "by hand", apart from the yellow elements, of course, but here it was much easier because they were along the lines (except for the strip on the fuselage - I take into account (I will have to correct it a bit after removing the mask, but we'll see what happens). I also changed the concept of engine construction. The unclear instructions and the moderate fit of the engine to the housing led me to paint everything with primer again and paint it in a metallic color again. In my version, the exhaust pipe outlets also had to be moved by cutting out parts of the housing. However, in the end, everyone sticks together. the resin wheels turned out to be quite average. I think that I would make a set from a box at a similar level, so I don't think I recommend this enrichment. The casting had some bubbles that came out when sawed from the mold. And some visible inequalities. This will probably disappear with the final finish, but I leave the question of whether it was worth spending the 6 EUR on the wheels to you.

    All looking good, Bernard @lis
    I can imagine the surface of this Ju52 is not that suitable to put masks on, quite difficult to get straight lines.
    To me the wheels look quite nice.

    Despite your challenges all looks excellent so far, my friend @lis! Not sure if I would spend €6 for the resin wheels, but they surely look good.

    Buyers remorse on the wheels. If your an audience of one, €6 can be a stiff price. However, if your playing to a crowd of modelers who appreciate the finer details of creating a outstanding build, your having fun and you feel good about the end result then it's worth it. The painting on the engines and there cowlings , along with the tires will be a add plus Capt R. (@lis)

    Looking really good, Bernard (@lis). Do you plan to do a diorama with this one?

    @gblair
    Yes George. I study how to make snow on diorama.
    @stephen-w-towle
    Painting engine coewlings are quite difficult. it looks a bit gaudy. Nose engine will have two colors more.
