Having built quite a few quarter scale Su-27s and not used (or, at least, that's what I remember...), by extrapolating I thought i would be ok with my 1/32...which was not the case..., my friend @johnb!
Surely the extra AB heavy extensions played their role, but I think weight would be needed nevertheless...
This is a weight same as the one I put, not sure how much it weighs, but it's not extremely light ! 🙂
Like you said before, 95% done and 95% remaining, Spiros @fiveten Good to see that the added weight is sufficient to set her on the nose wheel. She looks beautiful already.
Thanks my friend @johnb! "Modern" jets are complex machines, rendering them in 1/32 is not upon the most uncomplicated jobs! You have to add this and that everywhere and all-around (among others 🙂 ).
Those accents already pop out nicely, Spiros @fiveten Any idea why they chose to color those bay doors red. Looking forward to the weathering part.
Thanks my friend @johnb! Not really know why the red color at door innards. They have painted red the areas innards that are moveable, whatever that means...
Looking good Spiros @fiveten Why not a pic from the underside too 😉
Greatly weathered, Spiros @fiveten The fishing weigth is perfectly hidden by the way, no signs of it.
Thanks my friends @holzhamer and @johnb! Here are pics from the underside!
She looks wonderful, Spiros @fiveten. You keep on continuing with the final bits 😉
Thanks my friend @johnb! Will try to finish this beauty tonight...
