Far too many posts since my last visit you busy man! Overall great progress, and as usual you come up with some nice challenges to improve on an old kit.

    Moving on...

-Main wheels and gear doors attached

-I used two leftover retraction arms, in order to replicate the totally missing retraction linkages that are present at the real plane...

The rear wheel and arm are totally indifferent to the real looks. Could not do much there, other than painting the wheel tire to look like having higher profile than the kit provided one, and attaching the the arm at an angle that more or less resembles (very vaguely...) the real looks. here she is, standing on her feet (sorry for the out f focus pic!)...

    Thanks for stopping by!

Even out of focus she looks great, Spiros @fiveten
    Exhaust stains look very nice.
Addition to the landing gear do make it look a lot more realistic.

    Weathering in progress...

A blackwash was applied at the landing gear area and moving surfaces recessed hinge areas. Here is the landing gear... Some chipping was applied at places that rubbing would occur, like the wing roots where personnel would step... The blades' leading edges received some chipping, as well... Thanks for stopping by!

Looks wonderful! Did you put in a lot of work to fill the seams from joining the hull halves?

Looking great! Keep up the hard work, that is not a easy kit to build!

Very nice weathering results, Spiros @fiveten
What kind of wash did you use on the wheelbays.

The kit does require extra work to put it together and come up with a non-offending result. Fit, at places, is challenging. The wash is diluted black paint.

    Weathering applied...

The pilot is also almost finished... Of course I would have preferred to have a pilot in "desert" outfit, meaning shorts and the like, but I had none available. Still, the "standard" flying suit was, I believe, also at rarer cases worn in the desert.

    Weathering looks perfect, Spiros @fiveten.
Amazing paintwork on the pilot, absolutely a 10/0 paintbrush and a very steady hand required to achieve this.

@Spiros you are making me seriously consider picking up one of these Revell kits! Impressive work!

@fiveten - that’s the first time I’ve seen you paint a pilot figure, Spiros, and he looks absolutely great. I had no idea Revell made a Hurricane in this scale. Another fine build thread.

Thanks my friend @eb801! It is an ancient mold, details are plain and it is plagued with quite a few accuracy issues.
